UniCam Babies is a parent led group for NVS members and their young children.  A great opportunity to meet other mums and dads and share experiences, discuss child growth and development and of course enjoy songs, games and arts & craft.

* THIS IS A PARENT LED GROUP

Whether you are experienced in crochet, a long-time knitter, or trying it out for the first time, join our group on Thursdays from 10:00-12:00. Everyone is welcome, crochet or knitting is not essential. Most materials will be provided. 

This group is for adults only. Please bring your favourite sketchbook, or just pencil and paper, and join the Art for All Levels group. Some materials will be available, and there will always be something interesting to draw or paint. Enjoy shared company and ideas.

Join us at the University Centre, Riverside Suite on Tuesdays from 10:30-11:30.  This is a great opportunity to meet other members, our volunteers and group leaders.  There is a children's play area and refreshments will be served. We look forward to welcoming you.

Simone invites you to join her for a leisurely walk. The walks are during the weekend for about an hour and a half. These will be informal walks,  when pushchairs and children are welcome too: stroll along with new friends and enjoy the time together. The meeting point will be given with booking confirmation.

Around the World with Women Writers is a participant-led lively and friendly international forum for those who are interested in women writers from around the world.

Would you like to discuss interesting topics from a multi-cultural perspective?  Come and join Gail for a lively discussion in a friendly and welcoming environment.  This is a unique opportunity to learn about different perspectives from around the world – and to discover that we are often more alike than different.

"Film Point" is a group designed for film enthusiasts who share a deep love for the world of cinema. The group meets weekly on Wednesday evenings. Following the screening, members will have the unique opportunity to engage in thoughtful and reflective conversations.

The growing understanding of animal sentience - their ability to think, to feel pleasure and pain - has led to an increasing interest in giving rights to animals. This talk explores what that might mean for society.

Come and join us on Tuesday mornings for English conversation practice, where a whole range of different topics will be discussed. We split into small groups and chat informally about various subjects.
