Explore the history of science with objects from the Whipple Museum
This talk uses objects from the Whipple’s collection to give a whistle-stop tour of the history of science, with a particular focus on optical instruments. Find out why every medieval explorer needs an astrolabe, use a 19th-century botanical microscope and make sure you’re not going to be cheated by decimal currency.
Please Note: This term (Easter Term) no children allowed due to exams taking place.
