Newcomers and Visiting Scholars

 

In 1614, Thomas Hobson founded a Trust and left money in his will to ensure help for drainage of Cambridge sewers and to provide a fresh drinkable water supply. This talk will examine who suggested the idea, where the water came from and who have benefitted from this innovation in the ensuing years.
