London Stansted

London Stansted is the closest major airport to Cambridge with flights from many European destinations. I’s only 25 miles away and has a train station with a direct service to Cambridge (35 minutes). National Express coaches also run between London Stansted and Cambridge for easy access.

 

London Luton

Luton airport has  flights to various UK and European destinations and is 40 miles from Cambridge (approximately 90 minutes by car or coach). While there are no direct train to Cambridge from Luton airport, you can take a train to central London stations and connect to a Cambridge service. Alternatively, you can find direct National Express coach services operating between London Luton to Cambridge.

 

London Heathrow

Heathrow airport offers flights from many international airlines ans is  approximately 70 miles from Cambridge.  You can take the Tube from the airport to Kings Cross stations, where you can connect to a Cambridge service. Direct National Express coach services also operate from London Heathrow to Cambridge,  (approximately every two hours).

 

London Gatwick

London Gatwick also offers flights from a large number of international airlines. It’s located less than 100 miles from Cambridge and there is a railway station at Gatwick where you can catch  a train to Cambridge.

 

London City Airport

London City Airport offers flights to various European destinations, and is located 48 miles from Cambridge (approximately 1 hour by car). Although there are no direct trains or coaches to Cambridge from the airport, you can easily get to and from central London via the Docklands Light Railway (which is part of the London Underground system).
