A Christmas Carol is over 180 years old.

Expert tour guides will be taking NVS members on a walking tour of Cambridge on selected dates. The walks will be on Tuesdays after the talk ends and last around an hour. Members will be told which dates and where to meet in the newsletter.

This group is for adults. Please bring your favourite sketchbook, or just pencil and paper, and join the Art for All Levels group. Some materials will be available, and there will always be something interesting to draw or paint. Enjoy shared company and ideas. Over time, your drawing skills and confidence will improve. 

Step inside the extraordinary home of David Parr, a working-class Victorian decorative artist whose hand-painted interiors remain a hidden gem in Cambridge. Preserved for over a century, this unique house reveals the beauty of Arts and Crafts design through the eyes and hands of one man.

Join Sarah, who is a yoga teacher of 40 years experience, to do some mindful Hatha Yoga which is not only good for the body, but also helps to ground and calm and soothe the whole system.

Whether you are experienced in crochet, a long-time knitter, or trying it out for the first time, join our group on Thursdays from 10:00-12:00. Everyone is welcome, crochet or knitting is not essential. Most materials will be provided. 

UniCam Babies is a parent led group for NVS members and their young children. A great opportunity to meet other mums and dads and share experiences, discuss child growth and development.  Refer to your weekly newsletter or email us at enquiries@nvs.admin.cam.ac.uk for location information.

Come and join us on Tuesday mornings for English conversation practice, where a whole range of different topics will be discussed. We split into small groups and chat informally about various subjects.

Come and join us for Christmas Celebration at a Master's Lodge with an appearance by Father Christmas.
