UniCam Babies is a group led by University Childcare Services for NVS members and the wider university community and their young children.

This is an opportunity to visit one of the largest university-owned botanic gardens in the world, at the best time of year. Even if it rains there are several large glasshouses to explore! The Garden covers over 16 hectares and there are more than 8000 different plant species.

Meditation and mindfulness techniques can help reduce stress, improve wellbeing, and bring focus. It just takes a little patience and gentle effort over a period of time to develop them and build understanding of one's mind and feelings. While the initial benefits can be felt quite quickly; the greater benefits accrue later.

Come and join us on Tuesday mornings for English conversation practice, where a whole range of different topics will be discussed. We split into small groups and chat informally about various subjects. There is no pressure to participate and you are welcome to come along and listen too. There is no need to sign up for this group.

Join us for an extended coffee hour on the final Tuesday of term—a relaxed and welcoming opportunity for members to connect. It’s the perfect time to chat about summer plans, share ideas, and enjoy each other’s company a little longer.

This group is for adults. Please bring your favourite sketchbook, or just pencil and paper, and join the Art for All Levels group. Some materials will be available, and there will always be something interesting to draw or paint. Enjoy shared company and ideas. Over time, your drawing skills and confidence will improve.
