    Whether you are experienced in crochet, a long-time knitter, or trying it out for the first time, join our group on Thursdays from 10:00-12:00. Everyone is welcome, crochet or knitting is not essential. Most materials will be provided.

    Only a short train ride away is the historic city of Peterborough.  Our volunteer Andrea has a great day planned for you.  Including  a visit to Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery which currently has a special exhibition of Bronze age objects from ‘Pompeii of the Fens’.

    Join one of our volunteers as they host you for Afternoon Tea at their home. Experience this very British ritual with other NVS members ​and get to know our volunteers.

    UniCam Babies is a parent led group for NVS members and their young children.  A great opportunity to meet other mums and dads and share experiences, discuss child growth and development and of course enjoy songs, games and arts & craft.

    Join Karina for sowing, growing and harvesting from the garden to create delicious vegetarian meals.  Please contact Karina directly by emailing wells.karina@gmail.com. Cost is £5 per session.

    Come and join us on Tuesday mornings for English conversation practice, where a whole range of different topics will be discussed. We split into small groups and chat informally about various subjects.

    The Fitzwilliam Museum is the largest and oldest of the University of Cambridge Museums (UCM).

    Expert tour guides will be taking NVS members on a walking tour of Cambridge on selected dates. The walks will be on Tuesdays after the talk ends and last around an hour. Members will be told which dates and where to meet in the newsletter and our Facebook page.
