Our Coffee Hour is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow members, meet our dedicated volunteers, and chat with group leaders in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Whether you're new to NVS or a long-time member, this is a great way to socialise, share experiences, and learn more about our community.

In this busy world, we can find ourselves whirling with thoughts - structured techniques can help us find a calm place and see how the mind works.

Expert tour guides will be taking NVS members on a walking tour of Cambridge on selected dates. The walks will be on Tuesdays after the talk ends and last around an hour. Members will be told which dates and where to meet in the newsletter.

Home to over half a million objects, the Fitzwilliam Museum is bursting with treasures from around the world.

This group is for adults. Please bring your favourite sketchbook, or just pencil and paper, and join the Art for All Levels group. Some materials will be available, and there will always be something interesting to draw or paint. Enjoy shared company and ideas. Over time, your drawing skills and confidence will improve.

We are kicking off the term by hosting a Welcome Tea to give our members an opportunity to meet each other and our volunteers.  Join us for some delicious food. This is a family friendly event.  

Whether you are experienced in crochet, a long-time knitter, or trying it out for the first time, join our group on Thursdays from 10:00-12:00. Everyone is welcome, crochet or knitting is not essential. Most materials will be provided. 

Join one of our volunteers as they host you for Afternoon Tea at their home.  Experience this very British ritual with other NVS members and get to know our volunteers.

UniCam Babies is a parent led group for NVS members and their young children. A great opportunity to meet other mums and dads and share experiences, discuss child growth and development.  Refer to your weekly newsletter or email us at enquiries@nvs.admin.cam.ac.uk for location information.
