Newcomers and Visiting Scholars

Did King Arthur actually exist? We shall probably never know, but his legend has been popular from the early Middle Ages on, first in Britain and then across Europe. Books about him and his Round Table knights and the wizard Merlin are produced in many languages every year, both fact and fiction, as well as films, TV series and comic books. What is his link with Cambridge University and why is this legend so widely loved, and still seen as relevant?
