This group is for adults. Please bring your favourite sketchbook, or just pencil and paper, and join the Art for All Levels group. Some materials will be available, and there will always be something interesting to draw or paint. Enjoy shared company and ideas. Over time, your drawing skills and confidence will improve. 

Whether you are experienced in crochet, a long-time knitter, or trying it out for the first time, join our group on Thursdays from 10:00-12:00. Everyone is welcome, crochet or knitting is not essential. Most materials will be provided. 

The Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (MAA) in Cambridge has recently opened a new off-site facility for storage and public engagement, the Centre for Material Culture (CMC). Housed in a repurposed Cold War bunker and Grade II–listed building, the CMC contains archaeology and anthropology collections from 177 countries.

Around the World with Women Writers is a participant-led lively and friendly international forum for those who are interested in women writers from around the world.

Spend a day at the famous Ely Cathedral Christmas Market. A wonderful event to start the festive season and discover the beautiful cathedral and town.

Join one of our volunteers as they host you for Afternoon Tea at their home.  Experience this very British ritual with other NVS members and get to know our volunteers.

UniCam Babies is a parent led group for NVS members and their young children. A great opportunity to meet other mums and dads and share experiences, discuss child growth and development.  Refer to your weekly newsletter or email us at enquiries@nvs.admin.cam.ac.uk for location information.

Come and join us on Tuesday mornings for English conversation practice, where a whole range of different topics will be discussed. We split into small groups and chat informally about various subjects.

Our Coffee Hour is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow members, meet our dedicated volunteers, and chat with group leaders in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Whether you're new to NVS or a long-time member, this is a great way to socialise, share experiences, and learn more about our community.
