Meet volunteers and group leaders,  Learn about the events and activities we have planned for Michaelmas term and how to book.

Expert tour guides will be taking NVS members on a walking tour of Cambridge on selected dates. The walks will be on Tuesdays after the talk ends and last around an hour. Members will be told which dates and where to meet in the newslette.

This event is for registered NVS members only!

This group is for adults. Please bring your favourite sketchbook, or just pencil and paper, and join the Art for All Levels group. Some materials will be available, and there will always be something interesting to draw or paint. Enjoy shared company and ideas. Over time, your drawing skills and confidence will improve. 

Whether you are experienced in crochet, a long-time knitter, or trying it out for the first time, join our group on Thursdays from 10:00-12:00. Everyone is welcome, crochet or knitting is not essential. Most materials will be provided. 

UniCam Babies is a parent led group for NVS members and their young children. A great opportunity to meet other mums and dads and share experiences, discuss child growth and development.  Refer to your weekly newsletter or email us at enquiries@nvs.admin.cam.ac.uk for location information.

Would you like to discuss interesting topics from a multi-cultural perspective?  Come and join Gail for a lively discussion in a friendly and welcoming environment.  This is a unique opportunity to learn about different perspectives from around the world – and to discover that we are often more alike than different.

Come and join us for a visit to one of Cambridge's traditional pubs. There is no need to book, just meet Jonathan Collis outside Great St Mary’s Church, CB2 3PQ, near the Senate House at 18.00. This is a great opportunity to meet others. We look forward to seeing you there!

Come and join us on Tuesday mornings for English conversation practice, where a whole range of different topics will be discussed. We split into small groups and chat informally about various subjects.

Our Coffee Hour is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow members, meet our dedicated volunteers, and chat with group leaders in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Whether you're new to NVS or a long-time member, this is a great way to socialize, share experiences, and learn more about our community.
