It's a good idea to arrange your accommodation before you arrive in Cambridge, whether you're looking to purchase or rent. There are many options available throughout the city and surrounding areas.

 

The Accommodation Service

The University of Cambridge has a dedicated Accommodation Service that manages rental properties on behalf of the University. They offer a free service, helping members of the University and affiliated institutions find a home in Cambridge.

University rentals include one, two and three bedroom furnished and unfurnished apartments, which are available for a minimum of 1 year and can, subject to availability, be secured prior to arriving in Cambridge.

The Accommodation Service also provides access to a database of private rental accommodation, available for short and long-term lets.

Short-term Accommodation

If you need short-term accommodation in Cambridge, there  are many hotels and bed and breakfasts (B&B) in the city and surrounding area. The University's Accommodation Service can provide you with a list of temporary accommodation options. You can also find more information on temporary rentals on websites like Airbnb, VRBO, Spareroom.com, Your Space Apartments, Universityrooms or Booking.com
